Fish Tacos
Fish tacos
Last time we tried fish tacos in a Peru Restaurant in Athens and we really liked it. I decided to try at home when I saw them in the first place. Then I did...it is very healthy and delicious. I used Tilapia fillets but you could use any kind of fish fillets you like. You can choose any garnish you want to use as well, like shredded radishes, thinly sliced onions, chopped parsley, lemon slices....
ingredients
4 soft taco or 6-8 inch flour tortilla
4 tilapia fillets
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Cumin powder
1 cloves garlic, minced
Olive oil
To garnish
Lettuce
2 tomatoes, petite diced
2 Green onions, chopped
4 tilapia fillets
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Cumin powder
1 cloves garlic, minced
Olive oil
To garnish
Lettuce
2 tomatoes, petite diced
2 Green onions, chopped
preparation
In a medium bowl, to marinade fish fillets, season with salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, minced garlic and olive oil. Set that in the fridge for a few hours. It is better to make it ahead or over night.
Heat the non stick pan on medium heat and lightly grease it with 1 tbsp olive oil. Cook fish fillets until completely white. Mince them with a help of fork while cooking.
Heat the tacos or tortillas. Place each minced fish fillet in one tortilla. Garnish it with thinly sliced lettuce leaves, petite diced tomatoes and green onions. Finish all 4 tacos like that and wrap with tortilla, serve warm with French fries.
